Acupuncture works to regulate internal disharmony within the body alongside calming the mind and emotions. Treatments are individualised to each persons current concerns and personal constitution. An acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of fine sterile, disposable needles at specific points on the body. Patients often report a feeling of calmness, or increased energy after a treatment.
TOYOHARI - Japanese Acupuncture
Toyohari is a gentle and effective acupuncture style that is subtle and deeply relaxing. During a consultation emphasis is placed on palpation of the body to determine a diagnosis and treatment plan. Specialised techniques incorporate shallow or non insertion of needles making this form of acupuncture excellent for sensitive patients, adolescents and children. Accompanying treatments may include various body work techniques such as micro bleeding, cupping and moxibustion.
